SEGGER’s Flasher Hub controls up to 24 Flasher Compact units serving as individual channels for parallel, high-speed gang programming. Each channel can be configured to program a different device with a different firmware image.

The Flasher Hub is set up just once per channel configuration using SEGGER's Flasher software package. The software depends on the type of flash chip being programmed. The Hub can receive commands and send results "stand-alone" via TELNET, no desktop PC necessary.

The combination of a single Flasher Hub and multiple Flasher Compacts is the perfect solution for high-volume mass production.

The universal flash programmer for huge images

Flasher PRO XL is the extra-large memory version of SEGGER’s universal flash programmer Flasher PRO, including all the same features plus the option of expandable memory.

The Flasher PRO XL is the extra-large memory version of SEGGER’s Flasher PRO. With all the same features of the Flasher PRO, the Flasher PRO XL expands upon the original’s 128 MB memory with 2 gigabytes—16 times as much internal flash memory. This memory can be used to store a variety of large program images. With its huge memory capacity, Flasher PRO XL can also program target systems running large footprint OSes such as Android, Linux, and Windows IoT.

Flasher PRO XL can be used in stand-alone or PC-based mode. It connects via USB, Ethernet or an RS232 interface. Like the Flasher PRO, the Flasher PRO XL supports a wide range of CPU cores and an even wider range of different devices from various vendors. Software and firmware updates are included. Similarly, use on all target devices currently supported, and on any that will be added, is also included.

The space-efficient programmer

Flasher Compact is the compact twin to the Flasher PRO, primarily designed for installation into production rigs or automated test equipment (ATE) where production space is limited.

Flasher Compact is an in-circuit flash programming tool, designed to program the internal and external memory of an MCU or SOC as well as program a (Q)SPI memory chip to which it is directly connected. Users control it in stand alone mode without the need of a PC program. Thanks to its compact nature and the mounting holes, integration into size-limited production setups is easier. Powered by USB, this stand-alone flash programmer has 128 MB of internal memory for storing firmware images and programming configurations. The built-in web server can be used to configure or setup the Flasher.

Flasher comes with the setup and control software for Windows, Linux and macOS.  Software and firmware updates are included. Similarly, all supported devices can be used without additional cost. Support for devices added in the future is also included.

emCompress-PRO provides compression and decompression in any host application or embedded firmware, perfectly fitting most common use cases.

emCompress-PRO is a versatile compression library for most common use cases. It provides standard compression codecs and a zlib-like API for compression and decompression of input streams.

emCompress-PRO includes all compression and decompression codecs in source code, which enables usage in any host application and in any embe­dded firmware. In addition to the codecs, emCompress-PRO includes example application code for archive handling.

emCompress-ToGo is a portable compression solution that compresses or decompresses data even on smallest microcontrollers.

emCompress-ToGo is a portable compression software, designed primarily, but not exclusively, for embedded systems. It can compress and decompress data with basically no RAM requirements.

The lossless compression of the emCompress-ToGo algorithm SMASH-2 is fast and efficient and can be done even on small embedded systems. There are very few, if any, other algorithms for compression on systems with constrained resources, especially those with limited RAM. Decompression is equally efficient.

Reduce memory requirements by compressing static data on any embedded system.

emCompress-Embed is a compression library  that uses common compression codecs to reduce the storage requirements for static data.  Having less data to store means the firmware image may fit into a smaller flash memory device. This can potentially decrease the required size of an embedded system, reducing cost.

emCompress-Embed compresses the data on the host in advance. The compressed data is  then included in the firmware, along with a small and fast decompressor, so data can be decompressed on the fly, whenever needed.

emCompress-Flex is a compression toolkit, designed to compress data on a host computer and decompress it on a target system.

emCompress-Flex is a cost-effective compression library for speeding up firmware updates. It implements the lossless compression algorithm LZMA, which is used by popular compression tools, such as 7zip. emCompress-Flex enables you to use LZMA decompression even on small embedded targets.
